Function of the storage tanks NAD and NADO

Storage tanks are used for accumulating spare heat from its source.

Source can be:

central heater on solid fuel
solar system
fireplace stoves with exchangers
heat pump system etc.

Some storage tanks enable combining more sources of energy.

Storage tanks of the type NAD serves only for storage spare heat in the heating system, type NADO allow also direct heating the hot utility water (HUW) in inner enamel vessel or pre-heating it for other water heater.

All depends on temperature of the heating water, which is stored in tank. Solid fuel heater system in most cases allow direct heating HUW in inner vessel to desired temperature, but solar or heat pump system will only pre-heat HUW and it is necessary to place into system water heater or install into storage tank heating unit, for example electrical heating unit of the TJ G 6/4" series or the heating flange of the TPK series, to have HUW at required temperature.

Storage tanks of the types NAD and NADO combined with the boiler on the solid fuel assure optimal operation of the boiler at the ideal temperature.

Accumulation tank accessories

Thermal insulation (see the drawing) is an optional accessory: strong 100 mm polyurethane foam (molitan). The top cover, flange covers and hole caps are integral components. The insulation is supplied in separate packaging.

Other accessories for accumulation tanks are: a TPK flange heating unit and a TJ 6/4'' screw-in electric heating unit.
